Hayman’s Original Gin Cocktail Competition
Haymans Gin and Diffords guide have challenged bartenders to create original gin cocktails. Being up for a challenge I went with Hayman’s Sloe Berry Gin for it’s delightful plum, tangy and comforting spice flavours. Paired with Amaro Montenegro & Akashi Tai Plum Sake to create a bittersweet aperitif for a summers evening.

PLUM SKY.
This is Plum Sky, my entry to Hayman’s The Original Gin competition 2024. A blend of Hayman’s Sloe Berry Gin, Amaro Montenegro, and Akashi Tai Plum Sake, Plum Sky offers a bittersweet flavour profile with notes of sweet plum, herbal bitterness, and a velvety texture. Perfect for savouring as the sun sets, Plum Sky captures the essence of Blue Hour in every sip.
