London No.3 Gin have challenged bartenders to reinvent the Gimlet. Being someone who loves dry, bitter flavours I went with London No.3 Gin for it’s delightful botanical, citrus and comforting spice flavours. Paired with Greek White Wine, Bergamot Liquor & and homemade citrus syrup to create a bitter, dry tangy sipper for a sit by the river.

“The Rivulet’.
A delicate twist on the classic gimlet, featuring No.3 London Dry Gin with Assyrtiko Greek Wine for crisp mineral notes. Italicus bergamot liqueur adds ripe citrus and floral spice, while homemade citrus syrup elevates the gin’s flavour. Garnished with a lime leaf, it’s a serene sip of riverside bliss.
Inspired by the tranquil shores and the calm embrace of the sea, “The Rivulet” offers a delicate twist on the classic gimlet, celebrating the softer, dryer flavours fit for life on land. Berry Bros. & Rudd’s No.3 London Dry Gin forms the heart of this creation, boasting a refreshing profile characterised by a balanced blend of citrus, spice, and juniper. To complement this, Assyrtiko Greek Wine is added, renowned for its crisp mineral notes and bright citrus undertones, harmonising with the gin’s pink grapefruit and sweet orange elements. Italicus bergamot liqueur adds a layer of ripe citrus fruits and floral spice, enhancing the gin’s refreshing character while providing a delicate layer of spice from gentian root and chamomile notes. As someone who appreciates cocktails with a refreshing and dry profile, achieving the perfect balance of flavours is essential. A homemade citrus syrup crafted from grapefruit, lime, lemon, and orange peels combined with gomme syrup heightens the citrus notes in the gin, creating a delightful yet tangy complexity. Garnished with a lime leaf, reminiscent of tranquil riverbanks, “The Rivulet” invites you to savour each sip and unwind with a cocktail as delicately blended as the ebb and flow of a peaceful tide.
